G.H. Bass & Co. was born in 1876 when George Henry Bass entered the shoemaking trade with the commitment to craft fine and durable footwear.  G.H. Bass introduced camp Mocc in 1910 and in 1936, launched the legendary Weejun, which quickly became America’s most enduring footwear standard.  To celebrate 100 years of success, G.H. Bass introduced the popular Bass 100s line in 1976.  Today the brand continues to flourish in George Henry’s tradition, offering top quality, heritage-inspired footwear, clothing, and accessories to new generations of Bass customers.

The Bass customer knows what he wants and what he is looking for.  Bass shoes combine style and fashion with function.  Now at the crest of a new standard that has pushed the market onward, Bass creatively merges athletic, dress and casual styles creatively to meet the needs of today’s customers.
