DKNY JEANS Fall/Winter 2009 is a study in contradiction. To launch the new collection, DKNY JEANS International is inviting citizens of the world to break all fashion rules and create their own individual look, and rewarding them with cash prizes.

Beginning September 18, 2009, DKNY JEANS International will be running Break The Rules, a month-long web-based promotional campaign.  

Mechanics:

1)    participants create his/her unique look (not necessarily wearing DKNY JEANS)
2)    he/she submits a photo of the creation online at www.dknyjeans.com/international/breaktherules
3)    friends/family/anyone can go online to vote for their favorite looks
4)    top 3 voted looks at the end of the campaign win USD2,000 each
5)    weekly draw offers 1 lucky voter USD300 each week during the campaign

Winners of the campaign will be featured on DKNY JEANS International website and will be sharing, inspiring and influencing many others with their own personal style.

The contest is open to anyone age 18 and above with no restrictions on country of residence.  The campaign will be promoted through its website, retail locations and lookbook.nu.

With BREAK THE RULES, DKNY JEANS aims to connect, engage and capture its audience’s imagination in a fun, relevant and rewarding way.
